nuan studio is an award-winning multidisciplinary practice that covers architecture, interior, landscape, and urban planning with offices in Hong Kong, China and the U.K. With an approachable, collaborative way of designing and solving problems, nuan believes in fresh new solutions driven by harmony, honest materials, and user experiences.
From offline to online
Inspired by the intricate grid systems in minimalist aesthetics and brutalist architecture, nuan’s visual identity is streamlined and practical, a concept that is celebrated in the minimalistic design of nuan’s website. The device of the ‘nuan dash’ was extended to connect varying client needs and ideas, to a key visual on the website that maps out nuan’s multiple disciplines. The simplicity of this concept is translated online, prioritising an ease of connection between the studio and their clients, and a smooth transition into the design process.
